This is the most crucial decision of the decade and Georgia is at the head of the table. I know most people don’t care about politics and honestly I didn’t for a while neither until I started to notice the economic inequalities. See nothing makes a person wake up and make them realize what’s happening around them like a change in their money. 2020 only revealed the overwhelming amount of racial, economic and social bigotries in American and this election was simply the tip of the ice burg. Today we’re going to talk about Senators, more specifically the Georgia senate race coming in January of 2021.
So let’s just start with the basic. What is a senator? Here’s a short video that will explain exactly what a Senator is and what their responsibilities are.
So just to make sure we’re understanding here, Georgia has 56 senators in total. Of those 56 senators 2 are chosen to represent the state on the federal level. This means that Georgia is in a tight spot right now needing to decide who will represent us moving forward being that the special election and the regular election are approaching. Our candidates have presented themselves and are the finalist in this race for change. We have currently have republican David Perdue and democratic John Ossoff and democrat Raphael Warnock with republican Kelly Loeffler running in these coming elections. Georgia is certainly in a tight spot given that the state has not been democratic since the the beginning of the 1990’s.

Regardless of the individual, look at their policies. Know what seems right to you and what most closely matches your beliefs. I’ll leave the link below to each candidates policy page.

You don’t have to be an expert or a genius to be able to know what does and does not apply to you. What would benefit you, your family and (the betterment of people as a whole) your community. This is important and it’s time people become apart of the world they’re living in instead of being ruled and governed by laws you didn’t even know existed. The text the 48 laws of power said something interested in the very beginning and I believe it is quite true. You can chose not to play in the game of life but it will still go on and you will be a pawn whether you like it or not.
Be apart of the change you want to see and allow yourself to promote growth and peace. Life is a long journey so you may as well live it with purpose, clarity, truth and love.
“What we call our destiny is truly our character and that character can be altered. The knowledge that we are responsible for our actions and attitudes does not need to be discouraging, because it also means that we are free to change this destiny. One is not in bondage to the past, which has shaped our feelings, to race, inheritance, background. All this can be altered if we have the courage to examine how it formed us. We can alter the chemistry provided we have the courage to dissect the elements.”
